When designing new pieces for her family business, Khun Thanat draws inspiration from the scenery of her northern Thailand village. Mangoes from Thailand are desired around the world and she created this fruit tray while noticing the bright green leaves that adorn her home's mango tree. This 12 inch long tray is handcrafted from mango wood and features a two tone color arrangement with vascular accents created by offsetting polished and painted sections. Story Behind the Art:

Sarunya has been drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of her homeland to express her artistic talents for nearly ten years. She has a small workshop in Northern Thailand, where she and other family members practice their craftsmanship. At her workshop, only manual tools are used which helps achieve finely detailed work and artistry.
